I have a coworker who is looking to offer some schedule filling hours for anyone who may have the time and/or geographical location to swing what she is proposing. Ana has a 2 year-old daughter. She would like her to begin having contact with the English language and, while she believes her to be too young for a traditional academy environment, thinks that an appropriate private teacher would be beneficial.
She would like to start her daughter off with one 90 minute class per week and, if things go well, look to expand this in the future. The day of the week that the class takes place from Monday to Friday doesn’t matter but it would have to start around 17:30 or so. Whether or not you consider this a ‘babysitting’ type of situation probably depends on your teaching experience and preference. What Ana’s looking for is a low-key study focus, a non-intensive introduction to the English language with appropriate content for the age. (Stories, simple conversations/instructions with basic repetition...The same things our parents did with us when we were young and learning the language!)
The class time would take place in her home, located in the area of Quinta de los Molinos. (Nearest Bus Lines are 114 & 115 both depart from Avenida de América as well as Line 146 from Callao.).
