Madrid: Room for rent in best area

Hola!  

I'm an American, English teacher who will soon be returning to the States, but would like to see if anyone would be interested in my great apartment in Madrid!

I live with an Italian and a Spaniard (mid 20s) in a furnished piso in the Barrio de Salamanca (Madrid's most posh) between Metro Goya and Principe de Vergara.  It's a lovely, sunny, interior apartment. It's fully furnished and has an elevator and doorman.  My roommate, who owns the apartment, wants one month rent in advance.  With all utilities included, DSL (wireless!) and telephone the rent is 335 euros/month.  It's a steal!

Thanks for putting up the post. Sounds like a great offer! How should any interested candidates get in touch with you? Email? Call? Or should they contact the owner of the flat? Also, do you have your own room or is it shared? What about bathroom?

By the way, if you are returning to the States and have any teaching materials that you would like to get rid of (books, cassettes, audios, etc) why not put a post in the resource area. I am sure there are several teachers out there who would be interested in them.

Just a thought!
