We need a home!

My husband and I have been backpacking it for 7 months now. We are tentatively planning to arrive in Madrid in December to settle down for a while, and find jobs (teacher & tech head). If anyone is planning on traveling up to a year from then, and wants to rent their home...we are interested!

Here\'s the update:

We\'re currently in India, still en route to Spain.  Now we are thinking of settling in Barcelona. We hear it is more hip. Being from the New York City area, it sounds more like home. Any sublets out there available for Jan. 1st?

Triston should be checking the boards soon. He would probably know much more than me about sublets in BCN. We\'re getting closer!!!

We will be in BCN from 30Oct-30Nov, and possibly for the winter as well. Anyone who knows of a furnished sublet for $1000/month, please let us know.

For $1000/month you should have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM finding a decent apt. to rent in BCN.



Keep in mindf that sublets as we know thme in the U.S.A. anyway (a renter renting out his/her place to a 3rd party) are not popular in Spain. Here it is just the owner of the apt. renting to you directly and rentals are usually furnished. I am sure some people sublet but very few.
