Hola fellow expatriatecafe.comrades. It's not long now before my big move to the Spanish capital and I was wondering if I might be so bold as to seek some advice from those of you who already reside in the wonderful city of Madrid. I would ideally like to sort out a place to stay there before i leave my current place of residence in fair old Dublin. I was considering an apartment share type situation to begin with. Would anyone know of a good website that deals with this kind of thing?
It would be ideal to share a place with some Spaniards or fluent non-native speakers as my language skills amount to zero and I feel sharing would force me to speak the ol' Castillian.
Also, would anyone recommend shacking up in a hostel if the above option doesn't work out? If so, could you point out one or two of the more reputable places?
Any advice on the aforementioned subjects would be most welcome indeed.
