My husband and I are taking the ITC Tefl course in the Eixample district in Barcelona, and wonder which neighborhoods would make sense to live in and comute to school (by metro system). Any ideas on how to find a decent apartment site unseen? We need a place from Oct. 11 through mid November, 2003.

If you're taking a course with ITC, the staff there will definitely help you find a place. They are SO FRIENDLY and very good at making sure you have a smooth transition.
Not only that, but they might even possibly get you a discount.

Check out
www.idealista.com
(I found it in the housing links). It's an amazing website--shows you a map of the neighborhood & a 360 degree view of the area....great site. Everything is easily accessed in Barcelona, so you'll have no problems finding a place. Good luck!
