Teaching certification schools

Can anyone (Tracy) tell me anything about English teaching certification schools/courses?  I am looking at two schools to get my TESOL certification at in Barcelona--Trinity or ITC.  I just wondered if some are better than others or if there are more reputable schools that would look better on my resume (and hence make it easier to get a job in Madrid)?  Tracy, are you familiar with either of the two schools I mentioned? HeLLo HawaiiGirl!
I\\\'ve definitely heard of ITC- many people from the spain-english newsgroup have mentioned they\\\'ve either studied there or know about it. Trinity sounds more impressive but I know nothing about them. I would definitely research each more extensively and also read the \\\"Certification\\\" section of the Expatriate Cafe:  [!-- BBCode auto-link start --][a href=\"http://expatriatecafe.com/experience.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://expatriatecafe.com/experience.php[/a][!-- BBCode auto-link end --]

Hawaiin Girl,

I am looking at 2 programs for certification:

Via Lingua (TEFL)
[!-- BBCode auto-link start --][a href=\"http://www.vialingua.com\" target=\"_blank\"]www.vialingua.com[/a][!-- BBCode auto-link end --]

British Language Centre (CELTA)
[!-- BBCode auto-link start --][a href=\"http://www.cospa.es/blc/ted/ttframe.htm\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.cospa.es/blc/ted/ttframe.htm[/a][!-- BBCode auto-link end --]

I am not too concerned with price at all.  I know that the CELTA is highly regarded in Spain.  I think that I will do that and cover all of my bases.

Good luck in your search and I wish you well in your endeavors.

ok, let\\\'s try this again.  i just tried to post a reply but it wouldn\\\'t go through- the screen told me invalid password.
anyway, i am going to take a certification course through the School for International Training this summer.  the school is in Vermont but the course is in Boston.  it\\\'s co-validated course, TEFL and CELTA.  kind of pricey but since it covers both i wanted to take it.  so, someone mentioned that CELTA is highly regarded in Spain, does anyone have anymore info on this?  i was hoping that CELTA would be a good choice.  i hope i\\\'m right.
by the way, if anyone wants to check out SIT the website is:
