Hey Casey,
The website says "over 2000 positions available" but this probably would include anyone renewing from last year. Your inscrita number shouldn't rule your life though...my friend did this program a few years ago and his number was really high (he didn't even apply until February) but he got in. Don't forget that many people decline the offer for a variety of reasons and last year they were accepting inscrita numbers up into the 4000s. Maybe even higher, I don't know. So just because you're in the 2000s doesn't mean you have no chance at all! It completely depends on renewals and people deferring after they're accepted. Don't give up hope! :)

There is no limit. They close the door in March and it takes awhile to sort through those who are going to actually follow through. You'll be good.
