Firmar y registrar
« on: December 23, 2011, 04:04:58 PM »
So, I had firmar y registrar pop up at me when I first applied in November.  I didn't have the right internet system, so it wouldn't work.  Now I am admitida, but I still haven't done this.  I'm trying to find where it told me too and I can't.  Does anyone know where to find "firmar y registrar" and if it's still important if I'm admitida?

Hey there,
Are you sure it wasn't just a page kind of reminding you not to forget to "firmar and registrar"? The "firmar" refers to the PDF printout and once you send that in, you become "registrada" and then later "admitida". So it's possible that because you were using the wrong internet, you just saw a wrongly-formatted page and actually ended up doing everything right! If you have NOT sent in the signed part of the PDF, I would do so immediately and contact the consulate to let them know that you're missing documents and are apparently wrongfully "admitida". However, if you've already sent your stuff, it sounds like you just went about it in a weird way and are actually ok! Good luck!
