Thanx for your message on my previous posting.  To answer your question about more info, I have come across a useful website called [!-- BBCode auto-link start --][a href=\"http://www.newskys.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\"]www.newskys.co.uk[/a][!-- BBCode auto-link end --] which has loads of information including relocation, mortgages, solicitors etc etc.  I note from your comments that you are not too interested in taking inspection trips offered by property companies!!! Your ideas sound good though!  Another useful site is [!-- BBCode auto-link start --][a href=\"http://www.surinenglish.com\" target=\"_blank\"]www.surinenglish.com[/a][!-- BBCode auto-link end --] which has loads of job postings!

Good luck with it!

I\'m definitely going to have to create a special section under LINKS for Brits going to Spain, because there are so many requests for this kind of thing. Until then, try [!-- BBCode Start --][A HREF=\"http://www.expatriatecafe.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Web_Links&file=index&req=viewlink&cid=1\" TARGET=\"_blank\"]English Language Publications[/A][!-- BBCode End --] in Spain. They\'re usually run by people from UK and many list valuable resources for relocation-- unlike ME!  [IMG SRC=\"modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif\"] [addsig]

Broadband depends on where you live and how built up it is.  I can\'t get in my area yet but it\'s widely available.[addsig]

Most of the banks there have English speaking people.  I use CAM who I rate highly but I\'m in Costa Blanca so don\'t know if they\'re down there.  Barclays have branches all over Spain and certainly in the area you\'re talking about.

Banking in Spain is one of the easier things you can do.[addsig]
