Hello all you lovely Auxilarios in Madrid!
I finally arrived yesterday and am on a mad dash to get things sorted! I know I'm a bit late in the game, but thought I'd put a post up just in case any of you are in my boat.
I'm working in the Madrid suburbs, but have decided to make the daily hour + commute for the sake of living in the city. I'm most interested in the La Latina and possibly Lavapies areas, but am open to possibilities. If anyone is still in search of a roommate, would love to get in touch with you (private message perhaps?)
Also just looking for a bit of advice from those of you that have already found a spot:
1. What websites have you found most helpful in finding a piso? Any other method that's been helpful for you?
2. Ballpark figure - about how much are you paying/have you seen spots going for, and in which parts of the city?
