World Cup: Spain vs The Netherlands

Hello everyone,

I suppose for those of you who are here in Spain, you have already caught the World Cup fever...and perhaps those of you who aren't here yet...you are following it with interest.

Now that Paul the Octopus has predicted Spain will win Sunday's match, what do you all think? Who will win the World Cup Final, Spain or The Netherlands?

For those of you in various points of Spain, how has your town been celebrating last week's win against Germany? What preparations are being made for the game this Sunday?

For those of you in Madrid, are any of you planning on going to Santiago Bernabeu stadium to watch and join in the festivities??

I had to come home to play bridesmaid in a friend's wedding - I SO wish I was back in Spain right now! My father and I will be cheering Spain on from the woods of New Hampshire tomorrow afternoon. I think Spain can do it!

I've been living in Basque Country, and I'm proud to say that my city will be showing the game on a big screen projected onto the fronton tomorrow. I guess the other night was pretty wild - I'll be interested to see what tomorrow night brings!

Still, who gets married during world cup season? Seriously.  ;)
