As suggested by Tracy here it is...
I lived in London and then got a bit bored of life there. I\'d been travelling a lot for years, mainly to the US and used to go to FL monthly to see my best friend who lived there. Being freelance in TV I got a lot of freedom and time off.
So trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life I though \'I know I\'ll move to Spain\'.
My reasons weren\'t based on a thousand happy holiday memories, just that it wasn\'t too far from England, had a great climate and I\'d heard good things about it. I put my house on the market in London, sold up and moved to the Northern Costa Blanca. I bought a house here and am pretty much settled.
Being European I didn\'t have any visa problems and am lucky not to have to worry about working for a while.
Most of the stuff I\'ve learnt is through trial and error and having to do things myself. I picked up a lot of info before the move through the internet and found the place I rented while I was looking to buy over the net.
Spain is a great place to live. Very low cost of living compared to England. But it\'s not the land of milk and honey. It can be hard to get things done, the pace of life is really slow which can be a bit annoying when you have things you need to do. But I\'ve found everyone is really helpful when you ask.
So that is a very abridged version of my lifestory!
