 :) It's been a LONG time since I've been back to Madrid (8 years!) but I'm finally doing it if only for a month. Staying with my inlaws in Vallekas with my two kids. Is anyone going to be around in July??? i know it's a horrible month to be in the city, but heck, I'm on vacation!!! I used to know so many of you and now I feel like a stranger. whaaagh.

It's great to hear from you. My family and I expect to be around though July-ish we expect to be attending my brother-in-law's wedding in Palma de Mallorca.... I know. I know. ¡Que sufrimiento!  :-*

Please post your expected travel dates and we can work to be around and do our darndest to meet up. I'd sure love to hook up with you! I'll post back with the wedding dates once they're finalized...

Don't know how I missed your post! We will most likely be around...may take the first half of the month to head up to the Pyrenees, but generally in August we are around.

Definitely look me up .. would love to meet up with you. Send me a PM with your travel dates, etc and I will send you my phone number!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you get my info. It's been awhile since I posted and I had to change my user name.

I will be in Madrid June 20- July 10, 2008. I will have my kids, but hope to meet some "big people" out for drinks as 3 weeks with the in-laws just might drive me insane. I'd LOVE to meet all the people who are now associated with the Expatriate Cafe. Y'all are doing a great job!!!! It's been almost 9 years since i've been back. YIKES!

If you will be around in Madrid those dates, send me a private email and i'll give you my cell phone etc. Hope to hear from you!!!
