in need of some practical info.....

Hola everyone,



As I get closer everyday (time is flying by) I realize something else I need to figure out.  Can anyone offer advise about perscriptions and eyewear?  I really need to know about the availability of such things as disposable lenses etc.  Because I\'m not sure if Johnson & Johnson has distributors all over and if I have to stock up a year at a time, that\'s ok, I just need to know in advance.  And too, I need to know about getting perscriptions filled in Barcelona.  When I was in Prague, it was very costly to go to what was called a "western doctor" to get US perscriptions filled.  And I know that just because it\'s available here in the states does not mean it\'s available everywhere.  Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Disposable lenses are available there just like here (including Johnson and Johnson).

Getting prescriptions is easier than here.  All medications are available except for some specific brands (they don\'t have Patanol) but they may have a different name.  Also, most medications are sold over the counter without the need of a prescription except for pain killers and other addictive medications.  Doctors are generally cheaper than in USA.[addsig]
