Holidays in Spain
« on: November 06, 2007, 10:28:04 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Now that we have this nifty calendar function, I thought it would be helpful to add national and local Spanish holidays to it. This would be helpful especially to those English teachers trying to determine their month's income by calculating days of non-work as well as potential cancellations due to the long weekends.

I have added one so far and will continue to add them as time allows. If anyone else wants to do the same jump right on in. Just make sure to indicate if it is a national, autonomous community, or municipal holiday. If it's an autonomous community or municipal holiday, be sure to specify the region/city.

Thanks!

Hi Rebecca!

I had had the same thought....so I had added the Constitution Day (December 6th) with a little explaination of it's history.

But I have one question, is there a way to edit the calendar entries?  Because I double posted it and didn't think to denote that it's a national holiday.

Let me know:)

Salud! ( ??? looking for my cerveza)

Michelle, you ask a good question. I was just in the calendar function trying to find a way to edit your entry but have not been successful just yet.

When I get home this evening I will ask Mr. Rebecca who is far more familiar with this software than I am!

Nice post on the Spanish constitution BTW!
