Moving To San Sebastian!

hello!  new to the forum but it seems extremely helpful and thoughtful!  I am planning on relocating from new york to san sebastian early next year.  i know there has been quite a bit discussed already about working/living in barcelona and madrid...but does anyone have any insights on the san sebastian area?  thanks!

Welcome to the Café!

I have heard that it is the most expensive city in Spain, but I really don't know.

You can get a feel for the cost of rentals, etc. by checking out sites such as LOQUO and Segundamano. Those are also good places to start your search for a job there as well.

Do keep us posted on how things are going for you, and if you cannot find the answers to any of your questions after searching the forums, then by all means, ask!

teaching....who knows......but I gotta say, San Sebastian is one of my favorite places in Spain.  So beautiful and sophisticated and the food.....oh my god THE FOOD!  Let us know how it goes...maybe I'l move there too!
